Last week, the Colby Valve team traveled to Las Vegas to exhibit at the 2017 SEMA Show. By any account, the SEMA Show is a very big deal, drawing more than 70,000 domestic and international buyers and 2,400 exhibits, covering over one million square feet of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
As one of more than 2,500 new products that were on display, the Colby Valve never failed to impress show attendees who took the time to learn about what Colby Valve does.
From high-level executives in multi-national businesses to the mom-and-pop business owners of America, booth visitors expressed emotions from genuine curiosity to outright bewilderment at the simplicity and effectiveness of the Colby Valve. Some people placed orders, some called their friends, and some just couldn’t get over how simple and effective Colby Valve products are.
Making industry connections is the goal of any SEMA Show exhibitor and Colby Valve did that in heaps. We spoke to many industry members, from single buyers wanting to re-sell Colby Valves at their shop to the heads of massive companies. 77% of show attendees said that they were more likely to purchase from a company that exhibited vs. a company that did not, meaning that Colby Valves are going to end up in more wheels across the globe.
Despite the days being long and hard for exhibitors, Colby Valve is looking forward to exhibiting again at next year’s SEMA Show. Until then, we’ll keep blazing trails through the automotive aftermarket industry.
